RPRP

The ROCK AND POP REHEARSAL PROJECT (RPRP) is a network for young people who love their music and would like to join a band, or who have already started their own bands. RPRP members are aged from 11 – 12  through to 17 – 18.. Some are near beginners and others are accomplished performers.

Once you have joined the RPRP you can get involved at our Saturday centre. Sessions takes place at Eltham Green School on Saturdays between 9.30am and 1.00pm, for 10 weeks each school term.

Here some music by RPRP members at Greenwich NUMU

MEMBERSHIP OF THE RPRP ENTITLES YOU TO:
•    Book rehearsal space and equipment on Saturday mornings. Members have access to a range of guitars, basses, drum kits, keyboards, microphones, amps and also SPACE to rehearse, with no family or neighbours to complain about the noise!
•    Join one of the RPRP House Bands and learn more about playing in a band. After a while you might find that you’re just the person one of the bands already at the RPRP is looking for!
•    Be invited to play at local gigs
•    Hire equipment (subject to availability)
•    Become part of a network of local young musicians and receive information about local events and opportunities
The project can offer you facilities and equipment for your own music ideas, but if you need some help experienced tutors will give you hints and tips on how to get your band sounding great and ready for gigs and recording.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Membership of the RPRP network is free

Once you have joined you can apply to book rehearsal rooms:
